By Dr. Héctor Felipe Álvarez Universidad Nacional de Córdoba Abstract- The economic policy of governments can be complemented and coordinated with the policies formulated by companies to guide the different areas of their activity. The company as a social phenomenon pre-exists capital, legal forms and formal economic relations because it is created and is made up of people who are members of a society. The interest of the company focuses on people and society to provide goods, services and social welfare. The best path is competition, but cooperation is not excluded as a final result of social economic performance. The company as a type of organization in society has changed according to the technological revolutions that have occurred historically. The company has a political, technical, economic and social identity, its existence transcends any financial and material objective. The relationship between the company and society is one of mutual dependence, which is inevitable because they need each other to be able to fulfill their corresponding purposes.
