It functions to express the speaker ’ s intense emotions. It is structured in the form of Subject ^ Predicator, which is the same as Myanmar declarative. The clause-final particle: /-laiktar/ distinguishes exclamative from declarative in Myanmar. The unmarked Theme in Myanmar exclamative is the Subject realized by a nominal group, as shown in Example (4).
