This test is the non-parametric equivalent of the ANOVA (analysis of variance) test (Lomuscio, 2021). It determines if the initial and post- preliminary data responses reflect the same frequencies or have identical medians. In addition, the test considers the following: Null hypothesis H 0 : There is no statistical difference between the medians of responses regarding 9th-grade female student attitudes and abilities in the four areas of STEM before and after the intervention. Figures 6, 7, 8, & 9: The use of Descriptive Statistics from Raw Data Alternative hypothesis H A : The preliminary data differs from the primary data from 9th-grade female students in the four areas of STEM.
