While the study was conducted in both high and low-income areas, it was found that there were significant differences in waste management practices among the places. The findings indicate that a majority of respondents have access to waste disposal services, absence of waste disposal services, which highlights the need for attention and potential improvements in waste management infrastructure. To understand differences in waste management, respondents were selected from both high and low-income areas, showing significant differences in waste management practices between locations. Slums, where population density and waste management requirements are high, receive negligible services from DCCs indicating high health risks and, in turn, affecting incomes leading to poverty.
