An overwhelming majority (94%) answered affirmatively, stating that open waste is responsible for the infectious diseases experienced by their family members. A small proportion (6%) responded negatively, suggesting that they do not attribute infectious disease incidence to open waste because they live in affluent areas. This suggests a recognition of the potential health risks associated with open waste and highlights the need for effective waste management practices to mitigate the spread of diseases. Further scientific research and analysis is necessary to establish a definitive causal relationship between open waste and infectious diseases.
